Maria Michela Morese is Senior Natural Resources Officer and Energy Team Leader at FAO, Office of Climate Change, Biodiversity and Environment. She leads FAO’s programme on energy-smart agrifood systems. Michela has 20+ years of experience working on climate change, environment and bioenergy. Before this assignment, she was Executive Secretary of the Global Bioenergy Partnership (GBEP) in FAO since its establishment in 2006, as well as Manager of several FAO projects related to sustainable development of bioenergy.
