Reinhard Scholl has been a senior executive at the International Telecommunication Union (ITU). He is a co-founder of AI for Good and has been its Managing Director from 2017 to 2023. He is currently the program chair of the AI for Good Global Summit 2024. Previously he was with Siemens in Munich, Germany, and with ETSI (European Telecommunications Standards Institute) in France. He also served on the ICANN Board (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers). His Ph.D. is in physics from the University of Illinois, USA.
