Mr. Jari Aaltonen

Mr. Aaltonen is a UNIDO cluster manager and cleantech expert with long professional experience in working with public and private sector projects, developing countries, bilateral and multilateral organizations, European Commission, UNIDO and UNEP. He has more than 20 years of extensive experience in the field of cleantech and sustainable industrial development spanning program management, corporate strategy, cleantech clusters, green innovations and SME development and startups. Mr. Aaltonen holds a Master of Science in Environmental Management and Post Graduate Diploma in Environmental Technology from the University of Wolverhampton, and Master of Science in Physical Sciences from the University of Oulu (Finland). He also holds Graduate Certificate in Management from the University of Southern Queensland (Australia). During his career he has served numerous governments in developing and mid-income countires including Afghanistan, Barbados, Namibia, Nepal and The Philippines.
