NEDO
Hiroya Hirose works at New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO), Japanese government agency, a national research and development agency that creates innovation by promoting technological development necessary for realization of a sustainable society. He joined the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) in 2000. After that, he was a senior manager in the Knowledge Management Section at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) from 2015 to 2018 in Vienna. Currently, as a Director General of the Green Innovation Fund Project Coordination Office at NEDO, he is in charge of support private sector’s research and development that contributes to carbon neutrality.
