Youth Adviser

Melissa Tomassini has been serving as a UNIDO Youth Advisor for two years, focusing on youth mainstreaming tools and strategies in climate action, clean energy transition, and sustainable and inclusive industrial development.
As a Project Officer at EUROPE DIRECT and Research Associate at the University of Siena, she combines technical and civil society engagement skills with policy-oriented research in sustainable development.
Throughout her career, she worked with reputable organizations such as the European Parliament and the U.S. State Department and advised UNIDO and the IEA.
Melissa holds a MA with honours in Public and Cultural Diplomacy and a MA in European Studies – Project Management.
