Transformative energy solutions for sustainable cities (SDG7 YC, UNIDO)

The panel discussion with representatives from governments and youth will focus on initiatives undertaken to transform energy systems in urban areas. The panel will discuss innovation and technology demonstrations under the Sustainable cities program, funded by Environmental Facility. The panelists will discuss policy impetus, implementation challenges, and a way forward towards rethinking urban energy systems. By discussing energy-efficient building designs, renewable energy integration, and sustainable construction practices, the event will contribute to advancing the energy transition and fostering innovation.
