Skills development for green hydrogen value chains in developing countries. Case study: Tunisia & Morocco (UNIDO, BMK)
The side event will gather the perspectives of different actors of the green hydrogen ecosystem (government, private sector, academia, hydrogen associations and UN). In particular, the event will focus on skills development in North Africa, taking Tunisia and Morocco as an example. It will pay attention to the need of upgrading and upskilling the local work force, getting ready before investments and new projects in green hydrogen take place.
It will be an inter-disciplinary dialogue to help the advance of green hydrogen and sustainable energy simultaneously, while promoting inclusiveness, young talent and the empowerment of women.
