The Renewables 2015 Global Status Report (GSR) marks the tenth edition in this report series. The GSR provides a comprehensive and timely overview of renewable energy markets, industries, investments, and policy developments worldwide. The 2015 report has expanded sections on heating and cooling and on distributed renewable energy for developing countries as well as a special section on the contribution of renewables in climate adaptation efforts.
First released in 2005, the GSR relies on up-to-date renewable energy data, provided by an international network of more than 500 contributors, researchers, and authors. Today is it the most referenced report on renewable energy market, industry and policy trends.
REN21 is the global renewable energy policy multi-stakeholder network that connects a wide range of key actor. REN21 provides high-quality information, catalyses discussion and debate and supports the development of thematic networks.
