Plenary 1: Solutions for fast-tracking the energy system transformation
This session will explore how policy and technological innovation plays a pivotal role in achieving a low-carbon energy transition. The session will examine the status for the deployment of renewable energy, energy storage, hydrogen and digitalization to reduce energy access gaps and accelerate decarbonization. It will discuss the structural changes needed in the energy system to enable scaling up the adoption of these technologies and how to accelerate progress towards sustainable development and climate goals.
